Meet Leeda!

My name is Leeda Bacon and I have lost over 75 pounds on a healthy, easy-to-follow diet without using surgery or pills and have kept it off for 6 years. I had tried every diet out there and once even tried diet pills, all of which gave me no lasting results and made me feel terrible. After I stopped the diet I would gain the pounds right back again and a few more besides. I started having some health problems and felt that food was the cause or at least was not helping.

 

I was eating too much fat, sugar and red meat in large portions. Finally, I went back to the basics-fresh fruits, veggies, lean meats, whole grains and good fats, foods that came from nature. I stopped eating over processed foods with ingredients I couldn’t pronounce. And, since exercise is simply movement, I started doing some low impact exercises that worked for me.

 

As I was dropping the weight, I had many people ask me how I was accomplishing the seemingly impossible and to write it down. That is how my book, Be Ye Encouraged!-Simple, Time Tested Strategies for Lasting Weight and Good Health came about. It gives the reader hope and encouragement to reach their goals, just as I have.
