Motivation-What Drives You

Who or what motivates you, especially to lose weight? Don’t think too long, because the only answer that should come to your mind is you and your own healthy expectations. You alone are responsible for the decision to become healthy and

fit. Only you can say “I need to lose a few pounds, I need to exercise or I need to watch what I put in my mouth’. No one else can make those choices for you, not a husband, boyfriend, stranger, friend or distant cousin. You can not be

motivated by someone else’s ideals or manipulated to do something you are not ready  to do. You are in charge of you. If you are controlled by other people who don’t have your best interest in mind, or you’re tempted to follow the latest fad diet to achieve quick results, you may suffer both mentally and physically. Motivation should come from your own zeal to possess optimum health, not only now but for the future.

Any other reason won’t keep you pressing on. You should, however, take an honest look at the goals you set for yourself. Motivation can do a fast fade if goals are unrealistic and unattainable.
